Pre-Calculus Prerequisites: Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry is strongly recommended. Pre-calculus involves polynomials, functions, exponents, logarithms, trigonometry, polar coordinates, conic sections, and sequences. Topics covered also are trigonometric identities, equations and graphs, matrices, determinant, arithmetic and geometric series. Any student planning on pursuing a math-oriented college major is encouraged to take pre-calculus.
